Etisalat signs Strategic Partnership with Omania E-Commerce L.L.C to offer integrated ICT solutions in Oman

Muscat, November 20, 2006: Etisalat has announced a strategic partnership with Omania E-Commerce LLC (OEC), a leading ICT solution provider, in an initiative aimed at rolling out integrated market specific ICT solutions to customers in Oman. The agreement was signed in Dubai today during Gulfcomms 2006 by Mr. Abdulla Hashim, VP Marketing, Enterprise Solutions, Etisalat and Sheikh Mohammed Al Harthy, Managing Director of OEC.
The solutions targeted will be in the areas of e-Government, e-Business, e-Security and e-Consultancy with a specific focus on Infrastructure Outsourcing, managed services, eGovernment services and ePayment services. OEC and Etisalat will work together to share their combined ICT experience and best practices with organizations in Oman and offer the full range of solutions and services from both organizations.
Commenting on the partnership agreement, Abdulla Hashim, VP Marketing, Enterprise Solutions, Etisalat said "We see a very promising future for our joint initiatives in serving the ICT needs arising from the growth and expansion in the ICT market of Oman.
